Kellie joined the Olathe Rockets in the fall of 2007, after playing tournament Fastpitch with the DeSoto Belles for the past 5 years. She made the Varsity softball team at Saint Thomas Aquinas during her Freshman year, and was the starting pitcher for the team in her Sophomore year, when they won the Kansas 5A State Championship. Her teammates selected her for the Newcomer of the Year Award in 2007 and the Most Valuable Player in 2008. Kellie also volunteers her time for community service projects through her high school. College is a definite in Kellie's future and she hopes to contribute to a softball team at the collegiate level.
