Lauren joined the Olathe Rockets when she moved to Kansas in the summer of 2006. Prior to that, she played competitive ball for Orion Hunter (Chesapeake, Virginia). This will be her fifth year of competitive ball. Lauren has a very active social life and besides her softball, is active in high school basketball. As much as Lauren loves the game of softball, her number one focus continues to be her academics, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. College is a definite in Lauren's future where she hopes to study pre-med on her way to becoming a pediatrician. Additionally, she hopes to contribute to a softball team at the collegiate level.
